Metallica celebrará por lo alto el cumpleaños número 30 de su icónico álbum homónimo de 1991, conocido como "The Black Album", con múltiples ítems relacionados al lanzamiento, siendo el más interesante de todos es "The Metallica Blacklist", un álbum tributo de 53 pistas que incluye versiones de las canciones del álbum.

Con el 100% de las ganancias destinadas a organizaciones benéficas, la producción está compuesta por una asombrosa variedad de artistas: St. Vincent, Phoebe Bridgers, J Balvin con los Neptunes, Mac DeMarco, Kamasi Washington, Rina Sawayama y muchos más.

Liderando el set está la versión de Miley Cyrus de "Nothing Else Matters", que interpretó con Watt, Elton John, Yo-Yo Ma, el bajista de Metallica Robert Trujillo y el baterista de Red Hot Chili Peppers Chad Smith.
